This week's releases

Here is a look at this weeks film releases in the UK:

A Dangerous Method: An all star cast featuring Keira Knightley, Michael Fassbender, Viggo Mortensen & Vincent Cassel tells the story of Sigmund Freud and the birth of psychoanalysis. Freud (Mortensen) constantly clashes with Carl Jung (Fassebender) over their theories and the relationship they have with Spielrein (Knightley). With Cronenberg directing as well, big things are to be expected from this film.

The Muppets: The much loved muppets return to the big screen as they look to save their Muppet Theatre from destruction by a greedy oil baron. The Muppets all have different careers after going in seperate directions but all re-unite with the help of their biggest fan Walter to try and raise the money. Expect the usual wackiness for the ever popular Muppets.

Big Miracle: Inspirational family movie starring John Krasinski and Drew Barrymore where they try to save a family of grey whales that are trapped in the Arctic ice. It is based on a true story of the effort of people to save the whales and the barriers that stood in their way as they tried to free them. The story growing throughout the world as the media and governments become involved.

The Vow: Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum (seems to be playing the same character in all of his recent movies) star in this romantic drama about a married couple who have to start again after a serious car accidents means that Paige (McAdams) has amnesia. This means husband Leo (Tatum) has to help her regain her memory as well as win her affection again.

The Woman in Black:  Daniel Radcliffe returns to the big screen looking like a different man as he is Arthur Kipps, a lawyer who is settling the estate of a recently deceased woman. Unfortunately it leads him to a remote village where 'the woman in black' terrorises the local people and he must find a way to finally lay the spectre's spirit to rest.
